Be responsible for product solutions, prepare relevant technical documentations for customers, present them in customer workshops / professional forums;
Should prepare quotation (configuration) of the solutions and facilitate the bidding including respond to RFP’s;
Should undertake regional market search, and forecast trends within the industry;
Should analyze market requirements and competitors’ solutions, set up the Huawei solution, and generate the Key selling points / Arguments & Selling Strategy;
Understand and assess customers’ business objectives, strategies and requirements, develop cost and revenue models for IT solutions;
Explore IT business opportunities in vertical professional market (e.g. government, railway, energy, etc.) including but not limited to server, storage, DC;
Command customer dialogs on business case aspects of pre-sales projects;
Hold presentation to executive and CxO-level customers;
Technical consultation and dissemination product information to the sales team;
Active in team-building, enable and expand the solution team with contributions in professional methodologies and approaches.
Should have a advanced understanding of Storage and Server architectures and technology concepts;
Should have knowledge of quotation/configuration and design of Server and Storage technologies;
Capable of performing PoC Studies at customer site;
Should have knowledge of server and storage solution positioning and analyze competitiveness;
Have the capability to translate customer requirements and wiches into solutions based on our Huawei IT products.
Minimum 3+ years experience in a pre-sale environment on Server and Storage technology;
Have relevant certifications on Server and Storage;
Engineering or Science degree(s) and equivalents;
Familiar with IT technologies and architecture, enterprise IT design and application business of enterprise platforms, expertise on either IT architecture, data center, availability, disaster recovery, SDS, Cloud architectures, etc.;
Range of skills and experience in pre-sale or consulting (3+) from well-known vendors or system integration companies;
Experience and proven track record in building IT business cases;
Strong strategic and analytical skills, presentation skills;
Proficient in both verbal and written English;
Be able to take business trips in local and foreign countries.
